Ushlin gave a low whistle as he looked about the city, the passing through the gates easier with his runic mark. It was a couple minutes to get Lilt in too, but she was also in as well with little trouble. Thinking on it, he stopped down a few blocks towards the markets to look at Lilt curiously. "Now Lilt, you want to be sleeping by the barracks quarters or near the craft halls?" The streets were much busier then the previous town had been, with a lot of soldiers in the mix.

She pursed her lips in thought. To be honest, she wasn't quite sure what the barracks quarters were. Regardless, they didn't sound very interesting.

"The craft halls!" She smiled. Why had he even bothered asking that question? She scooted in closer to him, grabbed onto his sleeve, as they moved through the bustling people.

"Just making sure. Being in the military quarters has it's benefits." Ushlin noted before moving along, making sure he didn't lose her to the bustling crowd. The corners were full of marketeers or performers, much unlike to perhaps Ushlin's description of the place. It had been a good 30 years however since a insurrection occured, so perhaps he was speaking from rumor.

It was a score of minutes to an hour before they finally wriggled through, arriving at two taverns facing each other; the Violet Keep Inn and the Meigi's Haven Tavern. The Purple Keep was made of stone, the front boasting a porch with several tables and patroning several moderately well doing people. The Meigi's Haven on the other hand was much humbler in design, but cozy. Several patrons dallied about outside the place, one in flowing greyish green robes. "Well now, these are the places that are near the job board and also within the budget. What yah' think?"
